Section 5.7.5.11 MurdochNet Administrator
To facilitate the administration tasks related to MurdochNet,
the Office of Information Technology Services shall assign a person to the role
of MurdochNet Administrator.
The MurdochNet Administrator shall be responsible for:
(1) providing
a ‘development’ and ‘production’ environment and associated procedures and
practices for preparing and maintaining
Content
(2) developing
and maintaining Web-based applications and utilities that are hosted on the
computer used for the MurdochNet Host and are used to support the preparation
and maintenance of Content
(3) providing
utilities and tools for generating indexes and other navigational aids
(4) providing
a Campus Search Engine and ensuring that selected Servers are indexed regularly
and reliably.
