Section 4 SERVER MANAGEMENT

Section 4.9 Responsibility for Web Servers

Section 4.9.3 Guild President

The Guild President (or their official nominee), shall be responsible for:

(1) approving requests for the registration of Web Servers run on computers managed by the Murdoch University Guild of Students

(2) approving requests for the registration of Virtual Servers that host Content for student clubs and societies affiliated with the Murdoch University Guild of Students

(3) approving requests for the registration of Individual Web Servers run on computers provided by the Murdoch University Guild of Students for the use of their staff and for use by students

(4) authorising a registered MurdochNet Server run for and by the Guild on a computer managed by the Guild, to perform the role of Internet Content Host

(5) authorising registered MurdochNet Servers that host Web sites for student clubs and societies affiliated with the Guild to perform the role of Internet Content Host.
