Section 4 SERVER MANAGEMENT

Section 4.9 Responsibility for Web Servers

Section 4.9.1 Content Provider

A person assigned the role of Content Provider by an organisation unit or resource area and authorised by a Content Custodian, shall be responsible for the preparation, production, maintenance and/or publication of MurdochNet Content.

A Content Provider shall be responsible for:

(1) completing a Content Publishing Authorisation Form, when required by a Content Custodian, for access to a facility that enables them to publish Content for a nominated Web Site

(2) ensuring that their application form for publishing Content is authorised by the Content Custodian for the nominated Web Site

(3) completing a Content Provider Account Application Form, when required by a Content Custodian or Web Administrator, for a user account on a computer that runs a Web Server and is used for the preparation of MurdochNet Content

(4) ensuring that their account application form is authorised by the Content Custodian, or Web Liaison Officer, or appropriate administrative officer (Dean, Director, Head of School, etc.)

(5) adding, modifying, or deleting University Content or Associated Content on a computer that runs a MurdochNet Server or an Affiliated Web Server

(6) adding or deleting recognised Foreign Content, as instructed, from a computer that runs a MurdochNet Server or an Affiliated Web Server

(7) publishing Content when directed by a Content Custodian.
