Section 4.2 Murdoch Sub-domains
The allocation of Murdoch sub-domains for use in the naming
of Web Servers shall be managed to ensure that sub-domains are appropriately
and consistently assigned.
The allocation of Murdoch sub-domains shall be coordinated
by the MurdochNet Coordinator and include an application and approval process.
The Communications Services section, Office of
Information Technology Services shall check all proposed Murdoch sub-domains to
ensure that they will not cause name clashes for users of the Murdoch
University Network. (For example, clashes with a WindowsNT domain or
workgroup.)
