How to request a Special Ballot

Entitlement to vote for the following ballots is not strictly specified within the information available for the electronic voting system: the Guild Disability Representative, Indigenous Representative, and Queer Representative.

To be entitled to vote on the Queer Representative ballot, you must fill out the appropriate section of the attached form and return it to the Returning Officer before the deadline stated on the form.

If you have registered your status with the University as an indigenous student, or student with a disability, you will be automatically included as an eligible voter within the system. However, if you have not registered as an indigenous student, or student with a disability, and are entitled to vote on the relevant ballots you must also fill out the attached form and return it to the Returning Officer before the deadline stated on the form.

Please be assured that this information is strictly confidential and will not be entered into Callista. Once the voting process has been completed, this information will be removed from the voting system and deleted.
