Murdoch University Campus Flora

Examples of flora found on the Murdoch Campus of Murdoch University were incorporated into images used on the University's Campus-Wide Information Service between 1996 and 2001. The images included banksia, kangaroo paw, Geraldton wax, grevillea, gum tree blossom and Christmas tree. The banksia has been used in the design of the University's crest.

Walk trails allow students, staff and visitors to the campus to see some of these flowers during Spring.

Images from an album of photographs taken by Bob Litchfield were used to prepare a collage. The collage was the basis for the background floral image used on the University's Home Page in 1999.
