We offer a range of scholarships at Murdoch to provide financial support, including our Senate scholarships of $2,000 and up to $5,000 for Honours students. We also manage the Commonwealth Government's Commonwealth Scholarships which range from $1,103 to $2,207 per semester for up to four years.
These scholarships are specifically for students facing financial hardship, not necessarily those with a history of outstanding academic performance.
You can also apply for the Guild's book subsidy scheme which can give you financial support towards your books.
You don't even need to buy the books! In the general reserve section in the library you can even access required textbooks (people aren't allowed to borrow them), so you can do the reading you need without having to buy the textbooks.
Also check with Centrelink to find out if you're entitled to any other financial support including Austudy, ABSTUDY and rent assistance.
