The prize money that Milne gives each year is to help promote and encourage young people to enter agriculture and to make them aware of some of the future employment possibilities.
Milne AgriGroup has a number of people with bachelor and higher degrees on staff in the areas of nutrition, biochemistry, plant physiology and marketing.
Milnes is an employer of Murdoch graduates - vets and animal nutritionists. Milnes is a key player in the live export trade - Murdoch does R&D in this area. Milne and Murdoch are collaborators in R&D projects."
