The surgery service at Murdoch offers specialty services in both Soft tissue/Oncologic and Orthopedic/Neurologic surgery.

Our team at Murdoch Small Animal Surgery includes highly experienced and internationally recognised veterinary specialists in Soft tissue/Oncologic and Orthopaedic/Neurosurgery that work with residents in advanced specialist training programs, interns and registered veterinary nurses.

Our goal is to work closely with your veterinarian to provide the best possible care for your pet.

To make an appointment at the Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital, you will need to make sure your veterinarian has completed the online referral form, or the PDF version which you can bring with you or your vet can email or fax to us.

Our team are always happy to provide advice and support to you and your vet either by phone or email about any cases prior to or following referral.

What to expect on consultation

During your initial consultation the surgeon will discuss treatment options with you including prognosis, costs, any potential complications and they can also provide you with information on necessary aftercare.
