General Practice

The Small Animal General Practice provides a full veterinary service for the local community including vaccination, sterilisation, dietary advice and assistance with any illness or injury that your pet may suffer.

We are primarily a teaching hospital and final year veterinary undergraduate students are an integral part of, and an asset to, our service. Your pet will be under the direct care of one of our qualified veterinarians and one or more of our students. These students will see to it that all of your pet’s needs are attended to and will be supervised by the attending veterinarians at all times.

For your convenience and to minimise delays we consult by appointment only.

We are located within the Emergency Centre, and our hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm. If you need assistance after hours, please contact the Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre.
