| Dr. Bruce Ferguson is both a practitioner and instructor in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). Dr. Ferguson offers Veterinary Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Tui Na (Chinese body work), and Whole Food Therapy to his veterinary patients. Dr. Ferguson lectures both nationally and internationally in the field of TCVM. He has lectured at five different veterinary colleges including the University of California at Davis, Tufts University, Colorado State University, the University of Florida and Massey University in New Zealand. He has spoken at the American North American Veterinary Conference, the Wild West Veterinary Conference, the American Veterinary Medical Association annual conference, the Australian Veterinary Association annual conference, Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society, and speaks and teaches annually at the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine. Dr. Ferguson graduated with his Masters Degree in Animal Behaviour in 1986 from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He graduated with honours with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1992 from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida (link to presentations and publications page). He was certified in Veterinary Acupuncture and Veterinary Herbal Medicine from the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine in 1999. Dr. Ferguson has also attended human acupuncture school but has elected to not be a licensed human acupuncturist due to his passion for his veterinary patients. |
