Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre
Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital never sleeps and never takes a weekend off - we are here whenever your clients need us, every day of the year.
You can divert your clients and their pets to Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre (MPEC) out of hours in the confidence that they will receive care and attention from a dedicated veterinary team, backed up at all times by specialists in internal medicine, surgery and anaesthesia.
This ensures that, when you are unavailable, your clients and their pets still have access to veterinary care and advice in the event of an emergency.
In most cases, patients are either discharged after consultation or back into your care when your practice re-opens.
When a patient requires urgent intervention, Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre draws on its on-call roster of specialist-led teams in surgery, internal medicine and anaesthesia. A board-certified criticalist and an experienced emergency and critical care resident are also on-call at all times to supervise the care of the most critically ill patients.
