Anaesthesia facilities

Anaesthesia is performed within several areas of the hospital including theatre, radiology, CT and miscellaneous diagnostic procedures (endoscopy, skin testing and biopsies).

Within the small and large animal theatres there are anaesthetic machines which are capable of mechanical ventilation.

Equipment is available for the continuous monitoring of cardiovascular and pulmonary function in all anaesthetised patients.
