About the Educational Partnerships Service Centre (EPSC)

The role of the Educational Partnerships Service Centre (EPSC) is to facilitate an effective and consistent approach to the development, management and servicing of partnership arrangements between the University and its domestic and international partners.

International Relations Management

Building collaborative links and strengthening ties through partnership arrangements is a key factor in the development and management of international relations. The EPSC is actively involved in facilitating international relationship strategies and country wide international engagement plans on behalf of Faculties and Schools.

International relations management also includes welcoming domestic and international visitors to the University. The EPSC provides a service to the University by facilitating official partnership visits and delegations to the University.

Transnational Programs

The University recognises the importance of providing an equivalent learning experience for its transnational students. The EPSC is involved in facilitating the development of transnational course proposals and agreements which meet the business and academic standards required by the University. The EPSC also provides a pivotal liaison service to Schools, Faculties and transnational partners by coordinating and supporting the day to day management and delivery of transnational programs.

Domestic Partnerships

The EPSC provides a range of administrative services to Faculties and Schools in the development and servicing of partnership arrangements and partnership agreements with educational providers and organisations in Australia.

Student Exchange and Study Abroad

Through its international engagement activities the University has developed wide reaching and vibrant student exchange and study abroad programs with educational partners throughout the world. The EPSC is actively involved in supporting Schools and Faculties in the development and maintenance of Student Exchange and Study Abroad agreements as well as managing partner relations.

MOUs and Collaborative Agreements

The EPSC supports the development of new partnership arrangements by providing liaison services with respect to the establishment and maintenance of MOUs and Collaborative Agreements with international and domestic partners.

Unit Licensing Arrangements

The EPSC facilitates the development of international and domestic partnerships for both the licensing-out of units to form part of a non-Murdoch University award or the licensing-in of units to form part of a Murdoch award.

Contract Management Services

Contract management services in the form of implementation, maintenance and review of international and domestic partnership agreements are provided by the EPSC.

Articulation Requests

The EPSC serves as a contact point for articulation requests and proposals from international and domestic educational providers. Articulation agreements between partner organisations and Murdoch allow students in receipt of a particular qualification from the partner organisation to be granted an amount of advanced standing toward their studies at Murdoch. The EPSC works in liaison with relevant faculty and school staff in development of articulation agreements.

Murdoch Institute of Technology

The Murdoch Institute of Technology (MIT) is located on the Murdoch University Campus and provides English Language training, the Murdoch University Preparation Course and Diploma courses. The EPSC provides contract management services and liaison between the University and MIT.  www.murdochinstitute.wa.edu.au
