Prizes and Scholarships

With the help of our generous sponsors, the Veterinary Trust provides prizes and scholarships to students for excellence in their fields. The Vet Trust also helps to co-ordinate the ceremonies that award these. They include:

Annual Awards Ceremony

The University Award Ceremony is an opportunity to recognise and reward students who have excelled academically or made an outstanding contribution to the school.

Postgraduate Poster Day

Poster Day highlights current research carried out by our Masters and Doctoral students. Student posters are judged and prizes awarded based on both the merits of the research and the ability to communicate the information clearly.

Registration Day

Registration Day celebrates the 5th Year Veterinary Students as they become registered veterinarians. The day marks an important moment for each new veterinarian. The event also provides an opportunity to recognize and reward students who have excelled academically or made an outstanding contribution to the School.
