Wellard Rural Exports

As a demonstration of its commitment to innovation, Wellard Rural Exports and Murdoch University College of Veterinary Medicine have partnered to support the Wellard Professor of Animal Systems. The position is part of a five year partnership with Murdoch University’s College  of Veterinary Medicine to increase science expertise, training and research into production animals. Wellard has also committed to 2 student prizes to encourage student interest in production animal and equine health.

Hill's Pet Nutrition Australia

Murdoch is pleased to announce a new partnership with Hill’s Pet Nutrition Australia that will support several projects at Murdoch University College of Veterinary Medicine. This new 3 year partnership will provide support for the following programs.
• Support for Murdoch’s Veterinary Professional Life program
• Support for our Hospital feeding program
• Support for Murdoch’s online education program, MOVE - Murdoch Online Veterinary Education.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition Asia Pacific

Hill’s Pet Nutrition Asia Pacific has committed to support veterinarians in the Asia Pacific region by providing advanced education through Murdoch’s International Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Practice. This pre-masters program brings the best nutritional, surgical, and medical practices direct to veterinarians in the region through online education. The International Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Practice launched in January 2009.

Boehringer Ingelheim

Boehringer Ingelheim has committed to support 2 educational programs at Murdoch: The Boehringer Ingelheim Cardiology Lecturer will bring an internationally known cardiologist to speak to undergraduates, residents, academic staff, and practicing vets for 1 week each year. Boerhinger Ingelheim also supports Murdoch’s Shelter Spey program though direct and in-kind donations. The Shelter Spey program teaches students about issues in shelter medicine and provides low-cost speys for rescued animals.

Perth Zoo

Ongoing partnerships with Perth Zoo include the Murdoch University Perth Zoo Resident in Zoo and Wildlife Medicine and associated research projects.
