Caring for Pets Fund

Remembering your pet, improving the health of pets in the future.

Our pets enrich our lives in many ways. They provide us with unconditional love, help improve our own health and recreational pursuits, protect our property and are cherished members of our families.

Money donated to the Caring for Pets Fund supports research that will improve the lives and health of pets. While the majority of research benefits dogs and cats, research projects are also carried out for birds, horses, guinea pigs and other companion animals.

You can earmark your donation for work with a particular species or to a particular disease or health problem. Donations not earmarked for specific purposes give the Murdoch University Veterinary Trust the flexibility to allocate funds to priority research. All donations, whatever their amount, work to benefit our knowledge of disease treatment and prevention for companion animals.

You can take comfort and pride knowing that your donation to the Caring for Pets fund in memory of your pet may extend and improve the lives of pets in the future. With research, veterinarians may be able to improve the lives of dogs and cats facing cancer, heart disease or other illnesses – keeping them happier, healthier and with their families longer.

Pet owners can honour the memory of their pet with a donation to the Caring for Pets Fund.
