Pippa Sherriffs

(1998 - 2010)

Almost 4 years ago we saw a photograph of Pippa on the Swan Animal website. She had a beautiful face.

Apparently no one wanted her as she was eight years old, we took her and never regretted it for a moment. The first week we had her we had a phone call from one of the volunteers of the Swan Animal Haven, she asked if she could come and say goodbye to Pippa as she had left the haven while she was not there. Pippa fitted in so well with the other animals and all our friends and family. If a group of people came to visit, she would go and greet each person in turn with a wag of her tail. When I walked her in the bush, she would go and say "hello" to all the other bush walkers and befriend the other dogs.

She had the sweetest nature of all the beautiful dogs we have had over the last 42 years and it was such a privilege to own her and take care of her. On her plaque, we have this message:
