Meggsy 'Pisser' Sullivan
A ginger amongst tortoiseshells, persians and tabbies
Young Meggsy 'Pisser' grew wild and happy
Ophelia his sister and Fizgig his ma
And Boy, the old chatterbox, were never too far
Brody and Pokie would sound out the danger
whenever the gate was passed by a stranger
But none of us were able, not Fusculus the wise
To save our young Meggsy from cancer's cold eyes
And so we will miss those plaintive cries
That bought so much laughter and smiles to our lives
And 'neath a white blossom that bears ginger his name
Lies Meggsy 'Pisser', the one and the same.
