I remember the day we met you
the sweetest puppy we ever did see
although you chewed and made a mess
you were a part of our family.

You shared with us lives journey
licked the tears from our face
a best friend we could rely on
a love you can’t replace.

You’re gift to us was Bonny
She stuck to you like glue
Run down the beach, chase the ball
She shared her bed with you.

You had strength and courage
like no other, that I know
Which is why it was so difficult
for us to let you go.

We held you and we kissed you
we watched you go to sleep
so peacefully, so quietly
precious memories we keep.

At night we lay in bed
and long to here the sound
Our Tumbleweed, our spinner
still circling around.

You will always be our daughter
and still share our lives together
go run and catch those waves now
play at the beach forever.
