HOLLY SMITH

2006 - 2012

I travelled to Perth in search of a buddy for our beautiful Charlie Boy (2005-2010) in the hope that with a companion he would turn his energy and attention to a puppy instead of the garden and reticulation! Our “little golden child” joined the family in 2006 an adorable and energetic bundle of golden fluff and mischief. You immediately stole our hearts and the both of you continued to wreak havoc in the garden which was such a very small price to pay for the endless love and affection you both gave to us. I will always remember your beautiful soulful brown puppy dog eyes looking up at us saying ‘it wasn’t me mum, I didn’t do it, Charlie did!’ After some initial trepidation you soon grew to love the beach and camping and ‘fishing’ with Charlie, such memorable and joyful times together. After we sadly lost Charlie in 2010 you became the centre of our world. You enriched our lives with your beautiful temperament and loving nature, always beside us like a shadow. You were a fighter, our little girl, you gave it your all and we are so lucky we had five extra months with you before we had to let you go. We miss you terribly and you will be forever in hearts. RIP with Charlie little golden girl.
