Big Boy Spalding
2001- 27 April 2007
He was a stray 3 year old scruffy, matted cat who called in for biscuits and then would take back off to the bush. He was hit by a car and asked if he was mine. He wasn’t, but I checked in on him at the vets and he purred his head off!
So after weeks on the bottom of my bed taking him for weekly checkups, I called him Big Boy, with a one chance in 70 of surviving a car accident – a miracle. Slight head injury, two lots of acupuncture in the front forearm for nerve damage, and his rear legs that slightly threw out when walking. I had him neutered and after that was told by Harradines that there were no more grey Persian kittens coming through.
Big boy just wanted love and attention and a home that would care for him. He found me to be loyal and reclaimed his trust of humans once again.
Big Boy slept on the spare pillow and weighed 9 kilos. He exceeded all boundaries and groomed himself to be a beautiful strong, striking cat.
I had you for only three years to be sadly taken away by two American pit bull mastiff mongrel dogs. It is just too cruel. You deserved better.
Thanks Big Boy for always licking my forehead everyday in respect & love for me.
Love your mum & sweet kisses from
