on 13th May 2007

When in the Little Necessity Room
you were there with me.
When it was ‘nighty night’ you were
there under the doona by my side.

By the window you waited for the
sound of my car & what a greeting! –
with a friendly and frenzied bark
and a waggily tail!

Fear, I had none –
You never left my side.

Thank you Sam, for your life with us.

Miss you painfully.

In the light we will meet again.
