TOBY MUNROWD

1 August 1993 - 21 January 2008

A little ball of black fur, chubby baby with a sweet puppy face, puppy breath and soft brown eyes. You came into my life and brought me so much joy. My beautiful best friend I miss you so much. You were with me for nearly fifteen years and at the end tried so hard to stay but it was not to be and you went to heaven on that very sad day which was almost too much to bear.

My cute baby grew to a magnificent boy with a gentle nature and a wise and generous soul. His grandma, aunties and uncles loved him very much and he was always ready for treats and cuddles. Toby loved food, especially an ice cream treat, opening his presents at Christmas and birthdays, followed by games with tennis balls, the beach, long walks in the bush, and holidays down south with his brother Rupert at our special place.

We spent many happy hours walking in the evening in all types of weather, sitting on the verandah on sunny afternoons watching the birds and in the evening Toby would lie on his back on the couch, legs akimbo waiting for his tummy rub. On cold nights, he would rug up in his special jumper knitted by grandma, jump on the bed and wait to be covered by his special teddy bear rug only his black nose visible.

Toby was very special and brought happiness to many people.

My darling boy thank you for all the wonderful times we shared. We had a special bond that can never be replaced and I am grateful you were able to stay for so long. You will always have a very special place in my heart.

Have fun in doggy heaven my sweet boy.
Lots of love and kisses from your Mum.

Sincere thanks to Dr Colleen Rigby for her expert and loving care of Toby throughout his life and for being there at the end to help Toby pass gently into his new life. Her gift in memory of Toby is very much appreciated.

Thank you to Murdoch Veterinary Trust for your kind communication and for providing an opportunity for loved family members to be remembered.
