"BRUISER MARSDEN"

3 July 2007 - 1 April 2011

Bruiser, you came to us as a six week old baby staffy x and we fell in love with you at first sight. You were our four legged baby. You had to contend with our much bigger cats, Boof, Tabra (passed away Dec 2009) and Toby, but you forged a very close bond with Toby (passed away Oct 2010). You loved to come with us where ever we went and we loved having you with us. Watching TV on dad’s lap was one of your most favourite times. You loved to go for long walks with us and play tug of war with Bender (a staffy blue healer x we rescued in Jan 2010) and you always had to win. You loved water so much that we never had a problem getting you to have a bath. You loved to sit on the hill and watch over our 9 acres while we were at work.

Bruiser, you loved everyone you met, humans and animals alike and everyone that met you loved you too.

You left us far too early Bruiser from complications of a snake bite. We love and miss you terribly, and always will. Bender and Boof still look for you inside and outside, and I tell them that you are watching over us. It is so quiet without you. It is not the same having to wake up in the morning to the alarm instead of your beautiful little bark. We miss the touch of your body against our legs (you loved to lean against us whenever we stood still) and the way you nudged our hands to keep us massaging you.

Bruiser you were the most affectionate, obedient and loyal friend you could ever ask for. You were only with us for 3 and ¾ years but you enriched our lives and you will never be forgotten.

Just remember that you are always in our hearts and we think of you every day. We will meet again one day, our beautiful boy. We will love you always.
