"Our Brown Bomb"

Went to sleep peacefully aged 14 years 3 months.

Cassie was a long haired, Red Kelpie with boundless energy. She exploded into our lives as a puppy and turned our lives upside down. She was a friend and companion, loved the beach, swimming and long walks. Her 'lunatic' behaviour endeared her to us all.

Throughout her life Cassie had both cruciate ligaments mended, had a tumour removed from the top of her anal canal in a very tricky and complicated operation, after which we nearly lost her. But she was fighter and she pulled through. Later she had a tumour removed from her throat and a tiny growth from her lower eye lid. Through all this she never lost her zest for life and she fought hard in her later years to stay with us.

Our gratitude to Dr Greg Kidd and the team at Mira Mar Veterinary Hospital for the care and wonderful support given to Cassie and ourselves over the years.
