Stollie Huxtable

About eight months ago Stollie was diagnosed with Lymphatic cancer. I would like to recognise Bruce at Murdoch as although Stollie couldn’t be persuaded to take the remedy he suggested for very long, I am sure his advice on the food to give him made Stollie have a healthy and very happy eight months.

Once the lumps in his neck became very large we were fortunate enough to find such a caring vet at the Inglewood Veterinary centre in Michael. He has been more than a vet for Stollie in his caring and kindness to him and also to us.

Four years ago I came to live in Perth from the country. Due to the fact Stollie broke so many pickets between our place and our wonderful neighbours, (the Stones) they decided to leave a hole in the fence and so he has been very much a part of my neighbours, Keith and Marg Stone lives as well as ours and as the picture indicated he is seated with them.

His daily life routine was as follows. Breakfast with the Stones, morning tea (green tea and biscuit), ride in the car, once he decided he didn’t want to walk anymore, and of course dinner which consisted of either meat and baked vegetables or fish (cod) patties and vegetables. Stollie was nine years old.

To all of us human beings who are lucky enough to have a pet to love, you will know how much we are missing him.

Thank you for this opportunity to firstly express my thanks to Keith and Marg Stone and Michael and also for having the opportunity to put this memorium notice in.

Yours sincerely

Judy Huxtable
