SOLOMON HOLLIWAY-LANE

Born 20/1/2001 – 28/3/2011

Solomon's Story:
I had always had Chihuahua’s as my favourite dog, and then one day I went with to a new friends place and was greeted at the door by the most adorable dogs I had ever seen. I instantly fell in love with these small dogs with the friendliest nature called Papillion’s, I just had to have one, as it turned out they were breeders of these dogs and their dog had recently had a litter but all the pups were taken, except one which was very ill and was going to be put down, I had a look at this tiny sick dog and asked if could buy him, she said he probably won't live but I just couldn’t leave him.

I gave him his name from the bible as he needed a strong name to help through , I then took him to Harradine’s and between his name and the vets he made it through. Solomn gave me 10 years of love and laughter, he was a dog that loved you to cuddle him and would follow me from room to room, there were so many expressions and antics that would make me laugh. I loved to care for, think of and spoil my little dog.

Solomon suffered with allergies and had had both knees re-built, although he was sick a lot he had the best appetite which helped keep him in good form, he was always ready to go for a walk or in the car.

My days are sad and lonely now I don’t have Solomon. He was my mate and my best friend and I will miss him for the rest of my days.

I can only hope that I gave him the best life possible I surely did try.

Good-Bye Solly, I will love you for ever.
