Micky Heavens

1984-2001

Micky was a stray who I found roaming around Garden City Shopping Centre car park in mid 1985. I was unable to find his owners so I presumed he was dumped and decided to keep him. I took him to Cottesloe Animal Hospital for a check up and needles. Dr Don Nickels was on duty and said that Micky was about 7 months old. He was a beautiful dog, a wonderful pet and companion. He loved my grandchildren and they him-especially my eldest grandson Julian. Micky and Julian were inseparable as Julian was growing up. Julian is now 12. We lost our beloved Micky on the 26th November 2001 after a brief illness. I miss him terribly, and visit his grave in the back garden and talk to him every day.
