Crystal Hastie

Our Memories

Crystal always enjoyed her walks getting up to a little trot and bouncing along.

She always would let me know when she wanted to play by going and getting a toy out of her toy basket and giving me or my wife Deb a loving look as if to say "Come play with me".

She always loved her rides in the car and when she was younger she loved going to the beach. You can guess who had to go in the water first, then Crystal would come in after me. No matter what size another dog was, she would always give other dogs a warning as if the say "I'm protecting him - He's mine".

When it came time to have her groomed we would say "Want to go for a fur cut?" and she would run around excitedly wanting to go straight away.

Crystal was the best of friends with Saffie next door in Unit One. Crystal and Saffie had lots of plays together since they were little pups, and who would have thought a German Shepherd (Karla - my mate's dog) would also be best mates, but they were as Karla often stayed here when her master Bevin went on holidays.

We miss our little mate dearly and always will.
