Zak Graneri
Zak was about 2 years old when he came into my life. He was dirty, matted and not yet vaccinated, but if you looked hard there was a big smile and a heart of gold. In fact, he came into my life when I most needed someone and he was perfect. After establishing the house rules, having him shaved and vaccinated we got on with life. What a wonderful 14 years we had together. We always had our meals together, slept in the same bed, went shopping together, went on lots of walks and even had a few holidays together. He was so good to me, and for me, right to the very end. Zak died in my arms on Good Friday after a short illness. I still don't really know what he died of but I will say old age although I suspect something else. I miss him so much and my life is very lonely without him. My little saviour, forever in my heart.
