Huckleberry Girl

Black and White Cocker Spaniel

24 October 1993 – 5 January 2007

My dearest friend from age 10 weeks old. Loving memories of nearly 14 very happy years we spent together every day. Valley’s temperament was to be greatly desired. She was sweet, good natured, very friendly, obedient, and always happy – a true example of a “merry Cocker”.

Valley had her own bed, my bed, her chair, my chair, her place in the caravan, (and mine), her doggy friends, “Cello” (deceased) “Star”, “Min”, and “Danny” (all Cocker Spaniels) and “Missy”, her friend from next door. As Valley was the first one in the home, she taught other incoming puppies what do, - where to toilet etc. I will miss her taking all my socks, shoes, and undies unto her bed to “look after”.

Many thanks go to Jean Gooding of Yunbeai Kennels for breeding such a lovely dog. Thank you Jean, for Valley, and for all the years of devoted love she gave me, and for all the very happy times we shared together. Goodnight, but not goodbye, Valley.
