Roxy Dell
1999 - 2010
We first picked Roxy up from the breeder in November 1999, she was a bundle of little joy and a handful between getting stuck in the cat door, bee stings, chewing the reticulation and obedience training. Roxy loved life, and soon became such an important part of our family, she travelled up North with us and always shared weekends away together. Roxy loved people and everyone that met her fell in love with her cheeky charm and vibrant personality, she loved children like they were her own and other animals alike with sharing a bed with our cat Tiger, crying at ducks in the pond and even kissing stray kittens.
Roxy's favourite things in life were going to the beach & playing with logs not sticks, fishing in the boat with Dad even if she did get upset with the blops of the sinker in the water, playing with balloons - her favourite toys, watching TV and understanding what was on and crying when other animals came on the TV and loving life.
Roxy contracted Bone Cancer in July 2010 and we enjoyed every moment with her until her last with no dog food only roasts, meatloaf and slumber party's in the lounge with her. When Roxy passed away a few short weeks later a part of us died with her, she may be gone but she has left a huge hole in our hearts but she is now with her older cousin Sheba and we are sure they are playing on the beach together, eating chicken and enjoying there new life together.
We will always remember Roxy and cherish every moment that we had with her.
Love mum & dad
