"Charlie"

To our dearest friend and most gentle of souls “Chazzie”.

We saw you as a Pup at the kennels while we were looking for our special pet and we weren’t convinced you were the pet for us so we left empty handed. Twelve months later the kennels rang us asking if we would like to have a look at a puppy that had been returned by its owner. When we found out it was you we gladly accepted and brought you home to our very loving and very noisy and rambunctious household.

It was for over 12 years that you made our family whole. You were a very smart and handsome boy who enjoyed a pamper which didn’t happen too often, but you lapped it up when it was offered. You gave us so much pleasure. You happily scrapped with the boys in the backyard and not surprisingly enjoyed a quiet space inside the house on those cold nights down south.

We thought we lost you 2 years ago but the wonderful vets at Harradines and Associates in Bunbury removed the growth from your side. We nursed you back to health and you gave us another 2 years of joy and great pleasure.

We love you and miss you old mate.

Go and play with Lawrence and Grampy and we’ll see you soon.
