Paterson Clarence

17 Sept 1994 – 27 May 2010

Paterson came to us when he was four months old, and even though he was a pure English Cocker Spaniel, as his colouring was not quire right for the breeder we paid a very small sum for him. This was the best investment that we ever made because, from day one he gave us immense pleasure and unquestioned loyalty.

He was originally bought for our daughter, but for me it was love at first sight so I claimed him. Before long he became very much an important part of our family.

Paterson was never aggressive and throughout the years not once did he snap or growl at any of our visitors. He would however, bark at strangers so our home was well guarded.

In May this year Paterson’s age caught up with him and he collapsed. He was unable to regain his feet and would have had to drag himself around. As he had been such a loyal friend and companion to us we knew we could not let him suffer. On 27 May 2010 we let him go peacefully.

RIP Pat you deserve it.
