Residency Training Programs with Concurrent Research Masters with Training
The College of Veterinary Medicine, Murdoch University has vacancies in clinical training programs for Semester 1, 2014 in the following disciplines.
• Small Animal Surgery
• Emergency and Critical Care (Small animal)
• Anaesthesia
• Clinical Pathology
• Production Animals
The three year, full-time programs will allow a successful candidate to fulfil many credential requirements for speciality certification. The residencies are supervised by appropriately certified specialists through compulsory, concurrent enrolment in three years, full-time postgraduate study at Murdoch University. Completion of a Masters of Veterinary Clinical Studies and a Research Masters in Training degree is required for completion of the residency training program.
A tax‐free stipend is offered to students enrolled full‐time in the postgraduate degrees. Application is restricted to veterinarians with a degree that can be registered in Western Australia. Australian and New Zealand citizenship or Australian permanent residency status is required for tuition fee exemption. Successful applicants who don’t meet citizenship or residency criteria should be aware that International Student Tuition Fees will apply.
