Coursework Masters in Plant Biosecurity - 2013
Plant biosecurity is an internationally recognised field that protects our plants and plant products from pests and diseases.
With a postgraduate qualification in plant biosecurity you will be able to join a rapidly growing field of experts working across industries including agriculture, environmental science, sustainability, and trade. We will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to help protect Australian plant industries and maintain market access for our exported grains, fruits and vegetables.
You will learn how to monitor, identify and prevent the economic, social and environmental impacts of harmful plant pests and diseases. With a sound understanding of the key biosecurity activities that currently prevent these exotic organisms from crossing our borders, including risk analysis, quarantine and surveillance, you will be prepared for a role in biosecurity research, policy or industry.
This is a full fee paying course.
