CAVE Clinical Skills Week

Small Animal Surgery Gems (9 CPD Points)

This aim of this day is to provide practitioners with several ‘gems’ in both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery to improve outcomes for surgical patients. The day will comprise of seminars as well as hands on practical demonstrations/workshops to ensure participants are given opportunities to improve their confi and ability in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery.

Soft Tissue Surgery

  • How to obtain a bone biopsy
  • How to do a tube cystotomy
  • Why should you be using electrosurgery routinely
