Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital
Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital (MUVH) is a fully-functional, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital as well as a training facility for undergraduate veterinary students. Where appropriate, 5th-year veterinary students will perform the initial physical examination of incoming patients.
All examinations are then performed again by a licensed veterinarian. All diagnostic and treatment plans are tailored to each individual patient by a team of veterinarians that often includes boarded specialists.
MUVH has 3 permanent board certified veterinarians in Emergency and Critical Care who operate one of Australasia’s few Critical Care Units for animals.
MUVH also has 3 board certified specialists in small animal surgery, small animal medicine and dermatology. It also has board certified veterinarians in equine surgery and medicine. The nurses are exemplary, well-trained and extremely dedicated.
