Research
Staff and students in the Conservation Medicine Program undertake research projects on threatened wildlife species throughout Australia and around the world. Long-term research projects:
- Health status and population demographics of free-living endangered black cockatoos (Calyptorhynchus spp.) in Western Australia
- A proof of concept trial: Satellite tracking of Baudin’s cockatoos
- Western Australian humpback whale health project
- Coastal and estuarine dolphin project
- Investigating disease and mammal declines in the Top End
