CLUB MEDicine
CLUB MEDicine Overview
CLUB MEDicine consists of 3 evening lectures held throughout the year and while the focus is on small animal medicine, where possible, we take a multidisciplinary approach, as we did with our presentation on liver disease earlier this year. Dr. Shiel, Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Medicine and Professor Hosgood, Head of Small Animal Surgery, examined liver disease from both the medical and surgical perspectives. Different topics are covered at each session and speakers are from the Small Animal Medicine department at Murdoch University Veterinary Hospital as well as the occasional interstate or international speaker.
The aim with all our evening lectures at Murdoch University is to provide up-to-date clinical information and insights, immediately relevant to the general practitioner. Attendees are invited and encouraged to submit cases from their own practices prior to the event to be included in the case-based discussions on the night. This approach presents a unique opportunity for participants to get expert advice on their current cases.
