Projects in Focus

The Veterinary Trust has many projects that we work on throughout the year. Some of the highlights we're focusing on for 2016 are:

Animal Ambassador Program

The Animal Ambassador Program is run in conjunction with The Animal Hospital. at Murdoch University Patients are nominated to become our next ambassador to help us enrich the lives of other pets and their owners by being part of promoting and supporting the health and welfare of animals.

Caring for Pets Program

Donations to the Caring for Pets Program support research that will improve the lives and health of pets. While the majority of research benefits dogs and cats, research projects are also carried out for birds, horses, guinea pigs and other companion animals. To find out more select an option below:

Pet Owners Veterinarians

Clinical Skills Centre

The College of Veterinary Medicine is currently transforming a previously unused area of the College into a Clinical Skills Centre. Operating in the style of a student drop-in centre, the Clinical Skills Centre will enable students to have a hands-on and independent learning experience on top of their normal studies.

Dog n Jog

The 6th annual Murdoch University Dog n Jog fun run is an 8km run or 4km walk or run. Bring your dog and have a run or a leisurely stroll around our beautiful campus. It’s a great day out for all pooches and their humans.
