DEAN TINGEY

My name is Dean Tingey. I am studying a double degree in Law and Commerce (finance) and am currently in my third year. I believe my role as a student editor will give me a challenging opportunity to learn a new area of law. I find the prospect of assisting legal academics with the presentation of their articles appealing. This is because it will help develop my legal writing skills and give me some exposure to ideas not found within the average lecture. I look forward to contributing to this well recognised law review.

CLAIRE VINTEN

Claire is in the penultimate year of her Juris Doctor degree at Murdoch University. Her undergraduate degree is in Business (Human Resources and Industrial Relations). Last year, Claire’s interest in legal writing and international law led her to represent Murdoch University in the 2008 Jessup International Law Moot Competition. Editing the International Trade and Business Law Review will allow Claire to increase her exposure to private international law and further develop her legal writing skills.
