Murdoch Student Law Society (MSLS)
The Murdoch Student Law Society or MSLS focuses on providing support and encouragement for all the Murdoch Law Students who come from a wide mixture of ages, backgrounds and experiences.
Educational initiatives make sure that Murdoch Law Students are aware of current legal issues, supports them through a mentor program and makes sure that they have the best resources when applying for jobs.
Competitions create an opportunity to refine advocacy skills and acquire confidence in speaking while sport allows the competitive streak to take over.
Social events are an opportunity to relax, party and socialise.
Additionally we make sure that Murdoch Law Student’s have a voice within the Law School, Murdoch University, in the Perth legal community and nationally through the Australian Law Students Association or ALSA.
We are proud of our achievements, not one of which could be achieved without the continued support of our sponsors or the members of MSLS. With an annual committee of around 15 people MSLS exists to educate law students outside of lectures and encourage the community feeling that Murdoch Law School is so proud of. Whether you are in the law or legal studies programs, any age between 17 and 70, have a family of small children or are still a small child at heart you can become a member for a small fee and either actively attend every event or only use the career information put together by MSLS.
