Fees and costs

Please note: the following fees and costs are estimates only.

All applicants pay a $300 Application and Registration fee which will be deducted from the overall cost of accommodation and amenities fees. Unsuccessful students will have the application fee refunded.

The fee for processing, materials, activities, computer access and accommodation at the Centre for 2014 has not yet been advised. You are welcome to contact the School of Law for information on estimated costs. The cost per person in a shared double room with shower and WC also includes breakfast Monday - Saturday, three main meals during the program as well as entry fees to organizations. Students may also wish to purchase further meals at the cafeteria.

Additionally, students will need to organise their own flights (around $1,800 to $2,300 from Perth to Switzerland). Murdoch students, as well as cross institutional enrolled students have travel and medical insurance coverage for the duration of the program - that is from 22 June to the 13 July 2014.

Geneva is an international diplomatic city, and costs generally are higher than in Perth. While breakfast and three main meals will be included in the price of accommodation, other meals must be paid for at the self-service cafeteria at the Centre international réformé John Knox. Meals in town can be on the expensive side, and students should budget for at least $150-200 a week for food, though a night out can of course be a lot more expensive.
