About the School of Environmental Science

At Murdoch, we have been committed to genuinely making a difference to the environment since we opened in the 1970s. We’re proud that our School of Environmental Science has earned a strong reputation for research and education, with a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

To meet the world’s rapidly-increasing demand for expertise in environmental science, we work closely with a wide range of national and state agencies, local government authorities, industries and international agencies. Our research projects explore environmental issues and solutions related to air, land, water, biota, people, policy and technology.

Our staff members are actively involved in community activities including government, community and NGO-based committees, media involvement and extension work.
