Teacher's Registration Board

ATTENTION GRADUATING STUDENTS

All students are required to register with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) before being considered for employment as a teacher in WA. This includes employment as a teacher at Government, Independent and Catholic schools. Registration with TRBWA can also facilitate registration with equivalent bodies interstate and overseas.Register through the TRBWA website.

REGISTER TO HAVE YOUR TRANSCRIPTS AUTOMATICALLY SENT TO TRBWA

For gradutaing students who plan to teach in Western Australia, it is a good idea to send your final transcript of academic results to TRBWA for full teacher registration. This is something you need to initiate within your Muroduch student online enrolment. Steps to do this are:
1. Login to MyInfo
2. Click on Self-enrolment steps
3. Scroll down to "Services" section
4. Under heading of "Education Transcripts for Registration" tick both boxes (DETWA and WACOT)
If you do not have these ticked your registration as a teacher could be delayed! - see screenshot below

5. Click Submit, Save etc.

NOTE: Murdoch can only submit your transcript to the Teachers Registration Board (TRB) once you have been 'completed' (ie, final results have been received) and you are eligible for graduation. If any of your results have not been released, you will not be 'completed'. Once the gradutaions team have confirmed that you are eligible for graduation, they will send you an email advising you that you have been completed. At that stage, they will release your transcript to the TRB.
