Upon completion, all participants will receive certification of attendance in accordance with AITSL’s (Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership) Standard 6: Professional Engagement. Tribes TLC® Basic Course Certification – 4 days – Tues Jan 16th to Fri Jan 19thTribes_TLC.jpg

Attain emotionally safe and highly collaborative learning environments for primary /secondary /adult educational settings by establishing the Tribes agreements for a new pattern of interaction. This 4 day course is a hands-on training experience where you will experience over 40 learning strategies and evaluate how to apply them to specific classroom situations. In order to obtain full Tribes Basic Course Completion Certification and receive international registration with Tribes TLC in the USA, it is essential that you attend all the required hours.

Teaching Students with High Incidence Disabilities - 3 days - Mon Jan 15th to Wed Jan 17thDisabilities.jpg

This 3 day course will present an overview of the nature and characteristics of children with mild disabilities, and provide examples of evidence-based practices and teaching strategies, for:

  • children with autism (ASD),
  • mild intellectual disabilities,
  • learning disabilities,
  • attention-deficit-hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), and
  • children with emotional or behavioural disorders.

Mentoring Skills for Teachers – 4 days – Mon Jan 15th to Thurs Jan 18thMentoring.jpg

Enhance knowledge and skill as a mentor teacher or guide and explore different models of mentoring and their applications. Topics include:

  • essential elements of effective mentoring relationships;
  • features of effective mentoring programs;
  • different models of mentoring and applications; and
  • he concept of mentoring and assumptions underlying it.

Cost is FREE for teachers with experience in mentoring Murdoch education students (pre-service teachers).
