What is the world coming to?

Research stories

Murdoch was founded as a research university. Research has been at the heart of our work, and our teaching, contributing knowledge towards some of the globe’s greatest challenges for over 35 years now.

Our many research centres and groups work with organisations, businesses and universities the world over to pioneer studies and solutions across an array of research topics. In the Australian government’s latest “Excellence in Research” assessment 85% of Murdoch’s research was ranked world standard or better.

This is why leading researchers, research students, other universities, and the world’s best known names in business are all coming to Murdoch University.
