Students and training

The Centre offers training in research through the Honours, MPhil and PhD programs at Murdoch University. The opportunities for research in these areas are described at the web sites for the research groups and the Schools of the University (see Links page).

Members of the Centre also teach units in Postgraduate Certificates, Diplomas and MSc by Coursework in: Certificate of Environmental Science, Certificate of Environmental Assessment and Management, Certificate of Protective Area Management, Certificate in Public Policy and Management , Diploma in Environmental Science, MSc in Development Studies, MSc in Environmental Science, MSc in  Sustainable Development and also have strong links with the Sir Walter Murdoch School of Public Policy and International Affairs and the School of Business and Governance.

In addition to these research opportunities, short courses have been offered in Multivariate Statistics for Community Ecology by Dr Fiona Valesini and an Introduction to Programming in Excel by Dr Alex Hesp. These courses have been offered on an ad-hoc basis, based on demand.
